The Cobras travelled to Streatham for their second game of the weekend with Streatham on a high after beating Peterborough the previous day and Chelmsford determined not to lose any more points after their draw the day before.

The Cobras started where they left off the day before, putting immediate pressure on the home side, paying off with Stacey Wood opening the scoring after good work from Marianne Wright and Emma Stott at 00.35! Two minutes later Wood took the score to 2-0 assisted again by Stott. More chances came, which the Cobras were unable to convert, ending the period with the Cobras on top.

The second period started with the Cobras under pressure from Streatham, forcing the Cobras to take the first penalty of the night with Tracy Philp penalised for holding, which Streatham were unable to make the most of and the Cobras killed the penalty off. Streatham's pressure did pay off when four minutes later Katka Paulova scored, reducing the deficit to one goal. With four minutes remaining in the second period the Cobras found themselves in a three on five situation after Sue Williams and Sowinski went to the bin for holding and slashing respectively. Streatham piled the pressure on with numerous shots and one cleared off the line but the Cobras hung on to end the period still in the lead.

The third period started the same way the second ended, with the Cobras short handed again, Sowinski in the bin this time for cross checking. This penalty was again successfully killed off and with five players back on the ice started to turn the heat up on the Streatham defence. With just one and a half minutes remaining, Wright secured the points, scoring assisted by Wood. The Cobras didn't let up and just nine seconds later Stott finished things off to make sure of all the points scoring the fourth and final goal assisted by Wood.

Chelmsford's most valuable player went to Marianne Wright. and Sasha Martin did well in Chelmsford's net.
